Maurício Villar is a founding partner and COO of Tembici, a leading micromobility company in Latin America. Tembici is present in the main capitals of Brazil, such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Salvador, Brasília and Recife, in addition to Santiago in Chile and Buenos Aires in Argentina. Last year, it reached the mark of more than 2.3 million trips per month with its bikes. Graduated in Mechatronics from POLI-USP and from École centrale de Marseille, in France, he is a specialist in urban mobility with a career of more than ten years in the area. He was the forerunner of the entry of bike sharing technology with stations in Brazil, having created and implemented the PedalUSP project, the first bike sharing system at the University of São Paulo.
