Jurandir Pitsch is the Vice President of Sales and Market Development for Latin America South, at SES. Mr. Pitsch graduated in Electronic Engineering from Campinas Univeristy (UNICAMP) in Brazil in 1980. After working as Systems Engineer for the Research and Development Center of Telebrás (CPqD) until 1991, he joined Comsat International in Brazil where he held several positions in the engineering, operations, product development, becoming the Vice President of Marketing in 1998. Mr. Pitsch joined SES in 2002 as Senior Sales Director for Latin America and in 2009 became Vice President of Business Development. In 2014, he returned to lead the sales team for Latin America and is current VP Commercial for Latin America South. He is a member of the Brazilian Satellite Associations (Abrasat and Sindisat) and has written numerous articles about satellite communications and speaks regularly on satellite topics.
