Mineiro from Belo Horizonte, Flávio Lara Resende is a lawyer and journalist, with a postgraduate degree in Financial Administration and an MBA in Finance.
General director of Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação, he holds the positions of general director of TV Bandeirantes, Rádio BandNews and the newspaper METRO.
Upon assuming the presidency of ABERT, in August 2020, he graduated from the presidency of the Association of Communication Vehicles of the Federal District-AVEC / DF, an entity he has managed since 2010.
He is also the secretary vice president of AIR – International Broadcasting Association, an entity that represents 17,000 radio and television broadcasters in the three Americas.
Lara Resende has held positions in the federal government and in Minas Gerais, in addition to being a Tourism and Information attaché at the Embassy of Brazil in London (England).
