FM Extended Range Cases In this module, Marco Tulio , SET Board Member, talks with Jair Ventura , System Technology Manager at Jornal do Comércio and Eduardo Cappia, from Rádio Capital de SP on the extended range of FM in Brazil. In the conversation, these two interesting cases, one in São Paulo and the other in Recife, are presented. Initially, Eduardo mentions the challenge and peculiarities of the migration to FM from Rádio Capital de SP, clarifying that 95% of 1971 Brazilian broadcasters opted for the migration from AM radio to FM. Jair Ventura, speaks of the same transition experience of the 60 radio stations belonging to the Jornal do Comércio system, in Pernambuco; a process that, despite the impacts and challenges, was a rewarding experience.
