ICT is a key source for growth of Japanese economy. It will be a great driving force for achieving growth of the overall Japanese economy to enhance international cooperation in the ICT field. MIC is making strategic efforts with a global perspective to facilitate research and development, standardization activities, and global promotion of Japanese ICTs in terms of not only revitalizing Japanese economy but also realizing international harmonization.
At this opportunity we are introducing to you the latest status of Japan’s R&D activities on the next-generation DTTB technologies, and also the test results in Japan of the Physical Layer which we are offering as a package proposal in the name of DiBEG to the SBTVD Forum in response to the Call for Proposal of the TV 3.0 Project.
Besides, we are exhibiting the outline of the results of the Japan – Brazil joint pilot project in DTTB up to the end of March, 2021, showing our strong commitment to the next-generation DTTB of Brazil.
